I really liked the idea of the shadow of the ring being the shape of the heart, so I wanted to try it for myself.
The ring is my mother's wedding ring so I wanted the background to have something about marriage. To do this, I opened The Bible on a page where it shows something about marriage.
ooo this is a really good concept. creative! yay for you.
just some advice:
1. resize ur pic kc the full-view is too big (500-1000 pixels is best i think)
2. it's a bit too dark (thats easy to fix, just use brightness/contrast)
i really like it that the ring is in the upper left corner instead of the middle. it draws attention to the other details of the picture, like the words. smart idea using the bible too. emphasizes the importance of marriage.
and i dont think i have never seen mom's wedding ring in my life.

I actually made it a bit darker because the shadow of the ring wasn't very visible when I took the picture.
And.. I had to ask for the wedding ring.
